 Surgical Video Abstracts at ESGO 2017:

Robotic, Laparoscopic or Open Surgery


Abstract submission for Surgical Videos for the session below is closed as of May 12th, 2017. 

ESGO Cinema: Exclusive Videos only at the congress

Selected videos will be available throughout ESGO 2017 congress for viewing at the ESGO Cinema, which will be located on Level 1 Green during Poster Viewing hours.

  • Secnd Expert Video, to be selected from the video abstracts

Laparoscopic Surgery

  • Expert Video, Francesco Raspagliesi, Italy
  • Second Expert Video, to be selected from the video abstracts

Open Surgery

  • Expert Video, Alexandros Rodolakis , Greece
  • Second Expert Video, to be selected from the video abstracts


Time allocated for each video presentation, 6 min presentation followed by a 2 min discussion.


In addition to the general abstract guidelines:

  • Abstracts for Surgical Video should be submitted as text within the abstract system for video selection only.
  • The abstracts for Surgical Video that won't be accepted for the video session: Innovative Surgical Procedures in Gynaecological Oncology will not be placed in the program.
