Instructions for Oral and Poster Submitters ORAL PRESENTATION POSTER PRESENTATION ePOSTER PRESENTATION ORAL PRESENTATION ORAL PRESENTATION INSTRUCTIONS IN COMPLIANCE WITH EACCME REQUIREMENTS ALL SPEAKERS ARE REQUESTED TO INCLUDE A SLIDE DISCLOSING CONFLICTS OF INTEREST AT THE BEGINNING OF THEIR PRESENTATION »Download a template of the disclosure slide Data Presentation If using a PowerPoint presentation (or any other PC based application), please note you need to bring it on USB Memory stick or CD/DVD and load it on one of the Congress computers in the Speakers' Ready Room at least 1 hour before the start of the session. Please note that the Congress computers in the session halls are being supplied with Office 2013 (at least). If combining video films with PowerPoint, please make sure to check it in the session hall where your lecture is taking place during a coffee or lunch break prior to your session, at least 30 minutes before the start of the session - even after checking it in the Speakers' Ready Room. Alternatively you may supply your own laptop computer. In such a case please confirm that it has a VGA socket for external signal and come to check it first in the Speakers' Ready Room as soon as you arrive and later on in the session hall where your lecture is taking place during the coffee or lunch break prior to your session, at least 30 minutes before the start of the session. ›Important note for Macintosh users In order to use MAC presentations on a PC compatible computer please note that you need to prepare it according to the instructions below, before bringing it to the Speakers' Ready Room: 1. Use a common font, such as Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana etc. (special fonts might be changed to a default font on a PowerPoint based PC). 2. Insert pictures as JPG files (and not TIF, PNG or PICT - these images will not be visible on a PowerPoint based PC). Alternatively you may use your own Macintosh laptop computer. In such a case please confirm you provide it with a VGA adaptor for external signal, advise the operators in the Speakers' Ready Room about it as soon as you arrive and later on test it in the session hall where your lecture is taking place during the coffee or lunch break prior to your session, at least 30 minutes before the start of the session. Please make sure that you check the Interactive Online Programme during the Congress for any updates to your session day and time. Oral Presenters that were advised in their acceptance notification letters to upload their abstract electronically for ePoster display at the Congress and at the ESGO eAcademy, the ESGO educational ePortal. » View ePoster guidelines in the next tab POSTER PRESENTATION POSTER BOARD PRESENTATION INSTRUCTIONS Abstracts selected for Poster Board presentation should also be uploaded electronically for ePoster display at the Congress and at the ESGO eAcademy, the ESGO educational ePortal. Please click here for ePoster guidelines. Posters may be prepared on one sheet (preferred method) or alternatively on several smaller sheets. The dimensions of the poster board are PORTRAIT style: 1m wide x 2.30m long.It is suggested that your poster be 90 cm wide by 120 cm tall. You can use your own template file or you can use one these templates: click here Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract. The text, illustrations, etc. should be bold enough to be read from a distance of two meters. Double sided tape, tacks and technical equipment will be available for the mounting of posters. Staff will also be in the poster area to assist you. The organisers will not be responsible for posters that are not removed by the end of the session on the day in which they have been scheduled. In order to archive the poster on the ESGO eAcademy and to be considered for the Best Poster Presentation and Best Poster Award, it is important to submit the posters also in ePoster format. »View ePoster guidelines in the next tab Poster session overview Poster boards will be displayed over two days: Poster session I: Sunday, November 5, 2017 Poster session II: Monday, November 6, 2017. Different posters will be presented on each day. Presenters are able to set up their posters from 07:30. Posters should be removed after 17:00 at the conclusion of the poster session. Presenters are requested to stand by their posters during the lunch and coffee breaks on their day of presentation for informal discussions. ePOSTER PRESENTATION ePOSTER PRESENTATION INSTRUCTIONS ePosters will be on display at the 20th Biennial Meeting of the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO 2017). All abstracts will be available on ePoster display at the Congress. After acceptance of your abstract, you will be required to submit your file electronically. Please note that it will be mandatory to submit your abstract file for transformation to ePoster format. The deadline to submit your ePoster is October 4, 2017 General guidelines: Please hand in your poster as a 1-page PDF-file in portrait orientation. Technical requirements: File format: PDF (.pdf) In Pixel: 1080 width x 1536 height In cm: 38,1 width x 54,2 height Font size: minimum 16 If you want to add a video to your poster, please observe the following technical requirements: File format: .pptx with embedded videofile Video formats: .mp4, .mpg, .mov, .avi Max. file size: 40 MB (video included) Maximum: 1 video Sound: Not supported Please be aware that PowerPoint files (.pptx) will only be accepted if you have videos included.
