Statement and Credit Designation

The 27th European Congress on Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO 2026), Copenhagen, Denmark 26/02/2026 - 28/02/2026, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 19.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).

 

Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

February 26 – 8 credits
including morning Special sessions: Prevention - 3 credits,
TransLink - 2 credits
excluding workshops


February 27 – 6 credits

February 28 – 5.5 credits

As a CME provider, ESGO must deliver the number of credits to participants based on their actual attendance, therefore we are required to monitor the presence of each participant for each session of the event. One entrance of each session hall will be clearly marked “CME credits” where hostesses will scan participants’ badges to monitor their participation in scientific sessions.

After the congress a link to complete an online evaluation form will be sent to all registered participants with an explanation how to claim their certificates of attendance and CME points.

A certificate stating the number of points will be issued after completing the survey.

How to obtain your CME Credits?

  • Attend the congress sessions.
  • Please use only designated entrance to session halls marked "CME credits" where a hostess will scan your badge.
  • The total number of credits based on your participation will be provided after completing an evaluation survey.
  • Complete the CME evaluation form by
    March 24, 2026, at 23:59 CET.

Certificate of Attendance

 

After you have completed the evaluation form, your Certificate of attendance indicating the CME credits will be available for download.

Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. Credit will be converted based on one (1) hour of participation equalling one credit for all activities.

American Medical Association (AMA)

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
