Instructions for Presenting Authors
Speakers' Ready Room: Location and Hours
We kindly ask all speakers giving an oral presentation at the 27the European Congress on Gynaecological Oncology to deliver their final presentation slides at least one hour before the start of their session in the Speakers' Ready Room.
The Speakers' Ready Room will be located on the 1st floor of the Bella Centre, room 174.
It will be open during the following hours:

Important!
To ensure inclusion in the ESGO 2026 scientific programme and abstract book, published online as a supplement to the International Journal of Gynecological Cancer, the presenting author (or a designated replacement presenter) must be registered by the early registration deadline of December 18, 2025.
General Instructions
- If using a PowerPoint (or any other computer) presentation, please note you need to bring it on a disk or key memory stick (using the USB port in the computer) and upload it on one of the congress computers in the Speakers’ ready room, at least 1 hour before the start of your session.
- If combining video films with PowerPoint, please make sure to check it in the session hall where your lecture is taking place during a coffee or lunch break prior to your session, at least 30 minutes before the start of the session, even after checking it in the Speakers’ ready room.
- Apple/Macintosh users may alternatively use their own laptop computer. In such case, please provide a HDMI adaptor for external signal. Please inform the Speakers’ ready room staff at least 1 hour before the start of the session and test it in the session hall where your lecture is taking place during a coffee or lunch break prior to your session, at least 30 minutes before the start of the session.
- ESGO encourages you to use the presentation template – DOWNLOAD THE TEMPLATE HERE. Nevertheless, the use of templates is not mandatory, and presenters are free to submit their own designs and color schemes. However please bear in mind to keep the format ratio of your presentation 16:9.
Type of Abstracts Oral Sessions
Best oral Session
- 60 min session.
- Authors should prepare 10 minutes presentation.
- Time keeping will be strictly enforced by chairpersons.
- An discussant will review the presentation from his/her perspective.
- There will be Q&A and overall discussion at the end of the session.
- Presentation shall be submitted online by February 12, 2026, to be available for the discussant, plus onsite at the Speakers Ready Room.
- In order to submit, please use the link HERE and login under your account with your email address (available from January 16, 2026).
Mini Oral Session
- 60 min session.
- Authors should prepare 5 minutes presentation.
- Time keeping will be strictly enforced by chairpersons.
- The session chairs will serve as discussants and will review the presentation from their perspective.
- There will be Q&A and overall discussion at the end of the session.
- Presentation shall be submitted onsite at the Speakers Ready Room.
Best Three-minute Presentations Session
- 60 min session.
- Authors should prepare 3 minutes presentation which will be followed by 2 minutes Q&A.
- Time keeping will be strictly enforced by chairpersons.
- Presentation (1 slide only) shall be submitted onsite at the Speakers Ready Room.
Young Investigator Session
- 60 min session.
- Authors should prepare 4 minutes presentation which will be followed by 2 minutes Q&A.
- Time keeping will be strictly enforced by chairpersons.
- Presentation shall be submitted onsite at the Speakers Ready Room.
Video Session
- 60 min session.
- Authors should prepare up to 7 minutes presentation including video which will be followed by 3 minutes Q&A.
- Time keeping will be strictly enforced by chairpersons.
- Presentation shall be submitted onsite at the Speakers Ready Room.
* Please note that in compliance with the EACCME® requirements all speakers are required to include a slide disclosing Conflict of Interest in the beginning of their presentations.
