Instructions for Authors

PAPER POSTERS

General Instructions

  • The Poster Area will be located on the first floor of the Convention Center “La Nuvola” in the Exhibition hall.
  • Posters will be organised according to the topics and poster numbers.
  • The poster boards will be labelled with specific poster numbers according to the programme.
  • Posters must be prepared in PORTRAIT style (please DO NOT prepare a landscape poster). The recommended dimensions are 120 cm high by 85 cm wide (A0 format). Do NOT exceed the overall dimensions 200 cm high and 95 cm wide, it is recommended to leave at least 1 cm on each side.
  • Posters should be attached to the boards with velcro stickers, which will be supplied by the organisers.
  • Posters made of paper are recommended.
  • Paper poster authors are obliged to prepare and submit also the ePoster.

Paper Poster Timelines

Group A

  • Authors are invited to put up their posters on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 08:00.
  • Posters will be displayed until 18:00.
  • Poster viewing session between 13:05 - 13:50.
  • We kindly request the presenters to remove the posters before 19:00 otherwise they will be removed and discarded.

Group B

  • Authors are invited to put up their posters on Saturday, February 21, 2025 at 08:30.
  • Posters will be displayed until 18:00.
  • Poster viewing session between 13:35 - 14:20.
  • We kindly request the presenters to remove the posters before 19:00 otherwise they will be removed and discarded.

Commented Posters

  • Selected posters will be invited to join the Commented Paper Poster Session A or B to be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 between 15:55-16:25 (group A) and Saturday, February 22, 2025 between 16:25-16:55 (group B). The sessions will be moderated and commented by a discussant. The presenting author must be present and answer questions from the discussant and the audience.

 

  • All other PAPER POSTERS will be for "poster viewing only", no official time for discussion is given to these authors. However, we would like to ask all authors to stand by their poster(s) during the break on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 13:05 – 13:50 (group A) and on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 13:35 - 14:20 (group B)  to possibly answer the questions from the participants.

Paper Printing Service

COLLECT YOUR POSTER DIRECTLY ON SITE!

Enjoy the convenience of collecting your poster printed on-site. You will find it directly at the conference venue without the hassle of traveling with your poster.

Important: You have time until FEBRUARY 10, 2025 to send in your poster for printing, which will be available for pickup, starting from February 20, 2025 at the Registration desk.

Price per poster: € 60

ePOSTERS

Instructions for the preparation of your ePoster

  • PPTX file saved as a PDF file - portrait format
  • Not password-protected.
  • One (1) Slide only.
  • ESGO encourages you to use the ePoster template ESGO2025_ePoster. Nevertheless, the use of templates is not mandatory, and presenters are free to submit their own designs and color schemes. However please bear in mind to keep the format ratio of your ePoster as a PORTRAIT style.

Instructions for the submission of your ePoster

  • The ePoster submission system will be available from January 15, 2025.
  • Please use the link HERE and login under your account with your email address to submit your ePoster.
  • Deadline for ePoster submission: February 7, 2025 (23:59 CET).

 

Please note that ePosters will be displayed on special terminals during the whole congress. However, they will not be presented at a specific session. In addition, all ePosters will be available via the ESGO mobile app and online programme.

VIDEO CINEMA VIEWING

Overview

  • Video abstracts which were not included in the video sessions will be shown/played in a loop on LCD screen at the Cinema Viewing area in the poster area.
  • If not indicated by the author differently through the notification site we will use the video submitted with the abstract during abstract submission process.

Instructions

  • In case you would like to submit an updated 5 min video file, please use the link HERE and login under your account with your email address /submission available after January 16, 2025/.
  • The video file shall be up to 5 mins long and maximum size of 500 MB.
  • The type of the video format should be MP4.

  • Deadline for final video submission:
